Uniform
We believe that uniform is important in making children feel part of Chaloner Primary School. All children must wear full uniform; it can be bought quite cheaply through school or other retail outlets. Plain red jumpers and cardigans are allowed. Children are asked to wear sensible shoes and we will not allow branded PE kits in school. It is essential that each child’s clothing and possessions are clearly labelled with his/her name.
Our school uniform is provided by Goodies and an order form can be found here. We have a selection of uniform at school for you to buy throughout the year and you are welcome to try some on to find your correct size.

Girls
- Grey or black skirt, pinafore dress, trousers or shorts
- White Polo Shirt/blouse
- Red jumper/cardigan/Sweatshirt
- Black shoes/boots or trainers(all black) – no heels
- Red and white Summer dresses for the hot weather
Boys
- Grey or black trousers or shorts

PE Kit
- Dark plain shorts
- Plain red T Shirt
- Dark plain jogging bottoms

Jewellery
At Chaloner, we currently allow children to wear small plain stud type earrings (provided that they are removed and able to be removed for PE sessions at school) and a watch. No other jewellery at all should be worn or is permitted.
NB. Please have ears pierced at the beginning of summer holidays only, to allow your child’s ears to heal and avoid disruption to PE sessions which carry a legal obligation.
Children wearing other types of jewellery in school is not permitted and they may be asked to remove them.
